Day 428 - Open Action
Morning

Ice cream for breakfast was perfectly okay. Mal's not paying much attention to the ice cream though. Sure he's eating it, but mostly he's standing across from the entrance to sector 6, staring intently at the door.

Late morning - Early afternoon

Mal was a flurry of activity. He didn't plan to be gone long - only a few hours - but he did need decent supplies. Water for one. A small bag of supplies he could stash somewhere in sector 6 for later. And of course his trusty pitchfork from the stable. Once he had everything he needed, Mal walked purposefully to sector 6.

Evening

Mal emerges from Sector 6 tired and filthy. The food carts aren't giving him anything he really wants, so he makes his way wearily to Sector 4 for something good. He sat at one of the restaurants, pitchfork leaning against the wall next to his table, while he demolished a burger with relish.

Seeing as how he hadn't wanted to cook that night, Kirk had come out to Sector 4 seeking sustenance. When it was all free, did he even really need to bother cooking anyways? Ah well, deeper thoughts for another time. He spotted Mal at one of his favorite places, wolfing down a burger like a man who hadn't seen real meat in twenty years.

He tapped the seat across from Mal before pulling it out to take a seat. "Buy you a beer? A man eating like that needs a beer."

	Mal looks up and considers a moment. He was exploring Sector 6 as a way to keep from becoming that horrible alcoholic he saw in his future. Then again, a beer did sound good. "Sure. Beer actually sounds shiny at the moment." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"I'm taking it shiny means good?" he chuckled, pushing away to get up and fetch said beers. Thankfully, it didn't take long and he was back in a minute with two brown bottles. 	Mal nodded at Kirk's question and turned his attention back to his food. When Kirk came back with the bottle, Mal took a long draught from it. "Thanks," he murmured.
