He had picked up a compound bow. True, he had no idea how to use one properly, but he could figure it out the mechanics just by looking at it. He had spent more than a moment looking at it while he told the story of his college years.
"Oh well, you do change over time. You're--" He does the math in his head. "Twenty four, twenty five? Since highschool every single cell in your body has been replaced. You're an entirely different person, except for the still being you part." And now they're binary.
He is taking aim, and when she teases him he turns to look at her and lets the arrow fly. It misses by a large margin. It hits the ceiling above the target.
"I guess I'm no Green Arrow." But rest assured he will figure this out. He reaches for the quiver and pulls out another arrow. This time he does the math and aims, and lets the arrow fly.
