[The medical bots had done their job. They explained the whole thing well enough as to what they were going to do, and Keith understood enough of it through his pain and worry that he just let them do what needed to be done. It would take a bit for the nanites to completely heal his arm, so they wrapped it up to protect the wound while it healed, but there was no reason to keep him once they were sure the process had started and was working properly. He was sent on his way with strict instructions to rest the arm at least 24 hours and come back if there were problems.
He had picked up a jacket on his first day in the dome along with the rest of his regular clothes, and he was carrying it now, his fingers running along the singed edge where Shiro had cut him. He'd been wearing short sleeves underneath, so the bandage that covered the length of his forearm was very visible as he stepped outside.
