Day 398 | Video and Action (mention of mildly gross stuff in the action prompt)
VIDEO -- open to all
[He'd considered not even making this a video, but he really... doesn't feel like spelling out who he is and who he's reaching out to. It's a little dark where he is; he doesn't want it obvious that he's been crying (he... hasn't been crying at all. Nope).
When Yoon finally speaks, it's in a very quiet voice at first.]
I'm sure at least most of you know about Yona... [He attempts to sound as tough as possible. As strong as he can manage. Anyone who knows him even a little will know this is a huge act, and that he's fighting the urge to cry even with the next words out of his mouth.] She never belonged in a place like this, anyway. She's strong -- stronger than most people I know, so she'll be fine. Thunder Beast was probably waiting for her; he'll take care of her. [A very, very short pause.] There's a chance she could be back, isn't there? Her or Thunder Beast or... both...
[After holding a blink, which is really just an opportunity to keep the tears in check, he manages to steady his voice. Which is pretty serious as he says the next part.]
...I need to talk to you guys. [Another pause as he sighs. His head kind of hurts from all the crying, and it probably doesn't help he'd been doing a lot more reading than even he's used to.] You know who you are. I'll be home for the rest of the day...
ACTION -- closed to castmates
And he meant it.
He wasn't planning to leave home for anything that didn't include an emergency of some kind. He needed a little more time to get himself together, even if being home wasn't actually helping, considering... everywhere he looked, he was just reminded of--
--and he quickly forces himself to resume his focus on the book in his lap. It was something he'd been so sure would distract him, considering it was a book about infectious diseases (bad ones, including some that resulted in a person's body part literally rotting off slowly). He should probably have been grossed out from the start, but some part of him was actually fascinated by most of the things that people could get from simple, everyday life activities.
Besides, it wasn't as bad as the book he'd read before -- that one had covered parasites, and it had quietly encouraged him to wash his hands that much more often. It was kind of amazing how there weren't more people falling over with sickness, considering all the possibilities... Not that he was disappointed that there weren't, or something like that. Just the opposite.
So, that was how he could be found. With the door unlocked, it was going to be possible for just about anyone to wander in. He was sitting on the couch right in front of the door, so it would be impossible to miss him.
