Martha inhaled sharply and closed her eyes, willing herself to calm down.
"You did what you thought was best to keep people safe. You had no way of knowing whether I would turn back or not. And considering how little we actually know of each other, you probably didn't even know I am typically human. I suppose I shouldn't fault you for any of it. I know I shouldn't fault you for any of it. Hell, I'd probably have done the same thing if our roles were reversed. But it doesn't mean I'm not still angry. It doesn't mean that me... human Martha gets to feel all of that on top of the terrible guilt."
