Kirk wondered if he should be concerned that he was adjusting to prison life so quickly. The truth of it was, except for their overlords, being here wasn't to much different from the Enterprise. It was laid out differently, of course, and there wasn't so much formality to stand on, but it shared the sense of being encapsulated in this fragile thing and looking out at a world you couldn't touch with your bare hands.
What he was having trouble adjusting to were the choices for food in the little stores. He sucked at his lip as he peered at the choices, blowing out a breath and looking over, spotting Martha. He cleared his throat to get her attention, flashing his patented bright smile.
"Excuse me, mind giving me some advice? What's, uh, good here?"
