The soft brush of lips to his own pressed, almost chaste to start against his mouth. The warmth was surprising, Jae-Ha's breath light as he lingered against Kija. It was the first time anyone had kissed him so before. He stiffened, the back of his head up against the wall behind him. It was light, teasing, and he felt somehow dizzy. He didn't know what he had expected for the first time, but he hadn't ever anticipated a moment like this between them. They were both dragons. Both were men, and from the time he was born he had been prompted to find a wife or more. That pressure had only increased in later years.
This- it didn't make sense, he thought. But that didn't explain the reason behind why it caused his heart to hammer and pulse to race. Why it made his skin tingle pleasantly, or why he found it impossible to pull away. It would be so easy- and yet, he felt riveted to the spot. Did he want to touch Jae-Ha in turn, he wondered?
His eyes stared back into the gaze that watched him. Those eyes were somehow amused, and curious, as though they were looking deeper inside. Suddenly, he felt aware of the fact that out of the two of them, he was the only one who was flustered and affected. His brows lowered, and he made the attempt to reign in his reactions. Expression determined, it contrasted the warmth in his cheeks. He couldn't be the only one who seemed unable to control his emotions.
Purposefully his hand shifted up and bunched into the fabric over his chest, claws curling inward. Somehow he felt challenged, even when no such words had been spoken. The hand trapped within Jae-Ha's experimentally pushed against the pressure.
"I-" Words didn't yet come easily when he was still unsure of how to react to it all. It was all new, and thinking verses reacting at the moment was a challenge. " I do not know how you would like most to be touched yet..."
