All of which was a good response in itself. Thoughtful, Kija simply listened silently. It wasn't surprising that, while Jae-Ha had a number of factors that made settling down right now impossible (something similar for Kija, too), he desired an equal give and take relationship. Which ultimately was how one should be in the end.
At least... he assumed so.
When they found their destination, Kija came to a stop before the tree. It was massive... incredible and breath taking all in one. He had never seen trees so sturdy and high. Even moreso than Marina, this place could pass for a paradise on Earth. It could almost make one forget that they were in a prison, if they weren't careful.
Blue eyes fell from gazing up at their new house from below, before they swiveled to Jae-Ha with a half resigned half amused expression. It really was the quickest way. The leg of Ryokoryuu was truly great because of it. In the end he wasn't proud enough right now to prove that he could get up on his own.
"All right." At least it was hardly new. Hands reaching out, he held onto his shoulders as he jumped up, his legs winding around the other's waist to hold on tight. He shifted his grip and was careful to not accidentally claw him, but not to hold on too tightly either, with his right hand. He was well aware of his strength when dealing with others, and was always careful to grip or move with ease.
Usually.
The warmth of Jae-Ha's back soaked through Kija's newly acquired, loose fitting, clothes. But while the temperature was still more than comfortable, it had cooled down a little as evening set in. His body temperature permeated their clothes and made a stark contrast to the cooling of the air. He peered around the other and remarked without a lot of thought.
