[Contrary to popular belief, Hak isn't very experienced at any of this either. Women, girls practically, tended to throw themselves at him all the time but he'd always had eyes for only one. For years she'd been the very definition of unattainable, but he'd continued to be content with only remaining by her side. There hadn't been any other choice for him.
By her side, he'd gotten to watch Yona grow from a young child into a pampered girl and finally this strong and powerful woman who currently had him on his back. Throughout it all, his feelings for her had never wavered--only grew stronger. This wasn't even his wish, he hadn't held out enough hope to wish for anything like this. Only in his weakest moments when he thought he couldn't go on anymore did the very idea dare to enter his conscious thoughts. Allowing the fantasy to play out in his head for a few moments was enough of a taste of his fantasy to sate his desires until the next moment of weakness came along.
He kissed her like it would be the only time he'd ever get the opportunity, injecting his every emotion he'd ever shoved down and letting every feeling he'd tried to ignore come to surface for the first time. When she pulled away from him to breathe--the emotions in his chest were so intense he felt like she'd removed all the oxygen in the room. Their eyes met, her gaze searching deep within him for a moment before she makes that request.
Hak closes his eyes and leans into her hand slightly. Her name. He'd specifically been asked to maintain the formalities of their previous relationship by continuing to call her princess. She was asking him to drop that now.
There's an awkward silence that follows the request, almost like he's debating how to actually respond. After a moment, his eyes open and levels her with a heated gaze.]
I think I remember someone forbidding that.
[He gives her a cheeky grin before tugging her head to his chest. He holds her there for several seconds before speaking again.]
