[It's strange... although she is presently grateful for her abilities... ] I used to think that. But in the end possessing more power doesn't make one stronger.
[She's certainly learned that, and it's not an easy lesson to swallow.]
And in the end, maybe a human life is a happier one. [She often wonders about that. If she had been simply born human, as well as the people she cares about, how would their lives have turned out in comparison to now?]
But ultimately, does it matter very much? Knowing that you're not human, or that someone else is not human isn't so important to me. What someone is doesn't always reflect who that person is, even if it's easy to make assumptions.
