[She can feel it. The way he deflates and the pain in the air. It grips her heart and twists, knowing that she's the cause. She's always the cause, which is why she doesn't know why he still desires to remain by her side.
Hating herself and the way she knows he's hurting, she releases his hand, arms moving around his waist from behind.]
Wait. [It has to be this way, so that he doesn't see her.] I'm sorry. [Please, stop hurting.] It's not Zero. I just... [Her hands clench, grip tightening.] There's just so many painful things. [She doesn't know how to move past them.] Y-You don't have to restrain yourself around me.
[One of the greatest things they had before everything became messed up, was their friendship... that they could talk, even if... back then it had been so much more one-sided.
