Um. Hello there. I’m Marinette. You all must get these posts a lot, but I’m new here and I just wanted to introduce myself.

[She gives a small wave to the camera and a careful cautious smile.]

I’m not sure what really got everyone here, but I’m looking forward to meeting you all and making friends.

[Of course, she was also eager to meet people and see if anyone had escaped from here, but she couldn’t just go blurting that out. This was a prison after all, and being that bold could earn her unwanted attention from the wrong people and the powers that be.]

I was a little in shock when I first arrived, so I didn’t catch a lot of the information that was transmitted. Is there anyone that has some time to give me a quick run down? I’d really appreciate it.

Oh! If there is a bakery somewhere maybe we could meet there?

[Marinette gives another smile, more warm than the cautious one when she introduced herself. With a small self nod she ends the transmission.]

[He watches as she starts to jog toward him. She really is cute, he can't help thinking as reaches out to grasp his arm. Even in the tacky orange jumpsuit.

Yeah, I know. Weird, right? I can't imagine a single reason they'd have to bring you here.

[Misdirection. Successful. He doesn't really want to answer that question. Admitting he's been brought here because he constantly sexually harasses Ladybug as Cat Noir isn't something he'd want anyone knowing. Let alone admitting most of his crimes have to do with things he's done because he's one Cat Noir. But telling someone he is actually interested in getting to know more about, like Marinette? Never. No way. She'd be horrified and dislike him even more. He just recently got her talking to him and she probably still doesn't trust him.]

It's a pretty laid back place though. For instance, you don't need to stay in that jumpsuit. We can run and get you something else quick, if you want.

[She couldn't really say that she deserved to be there for stalking. Especially since the person she had been stalking was him. Schooling her reaction, or trying her best she blushes and rubs the back of her head with a sheepish smile. She holds onto him for a little while longer, but then she forces herself to let go of his arm.

She needed to act natural.]

Y-yeah someone told me that I could do that and also that this thing would come off eventually if I behaved myself.

[She motioned down towards her ankle. She blinked and looked back up to him shifting a little ways out of his personal space.]

Sorry, I was just glad to see you. I mean, to see someone I know from home.

[He scratches his head, looking away as he attempts to respond to her words. He's a little embarrassed to admit how happy he is to see someone from home. Especially to get the opportunity to befriend someone he's been wanting to get to know better for a long time.]

No! Don't be sorry. I'm glad to see you too!

[That probably doesn't sound very nice of him, considering they are in jail.]

Not that I'm happy we're in jail, but happy to have someone from home too.

[He gives out a sigh, chiding himself internally before continuing.]

I don't make friends very easily and it's nice to have someone around I already know.

I'm glad to be here with you. Maybe with both of us here we can figure out how to help everyone get out of here.

[She definitely wanted to make sure to get Adrien home, and also save the others that didn't want to be here.]

Sure. We never got the chance to show the world what an unstoppable duo we could be at that gaming tournament. I'm sure we'll make a team that can put Ladybug and Cat Noir to shame.

[For only the barest of moments, he lifts a fist into the air as if waiting for her to bump it, but quickly realizes his mistake and buries it into the hair at the back of his head with a chuckle of embarrassment.]

Okay--maybe not that good. They are pretty impressive and cool...

[Yes, together. Though, she does already have a great partner in Chat. But he isn't here, and that wasn't something she could help. She spares a small thought for him as she tries not to worry too much about the other and Paris for the moment.

As Adrien spoke, her cheeks heat up a little more as she nods vigorously in agreement.]

Yeah! We'll see if we can't do something to help everyone to honor them.

[It was an automatic thing, and when he holds out his fist her hand comes up to bump it, but when he pulls away she smiles and turns to the side to take away from the awkward movements.]

So. Where should we go?

Maybe a place to stay? If we're going to be here for a while, it's probably a good idea. I think there are some spare apartments in my building.

[He can't help the heat from rushing up the back of his neck as he continues.]

There's a few extra rooms in my place if you don't feel comfortable living alone.

[Just don't mention the camembert in the fridge.]
