Um. Hello there. I’m Marinette. You all must get these posts a lot, but I’m new here and I just wanted to introduce myself.

[She gives a small wave to the camera and a careful cautious smile.]

I’m not sure what really got everyone here, but I’m looking forward to meeting you all and making friends.

[Of course, she was also eager to meet people and see if anyone had escaped from here, but she couldn’t just go blurting that out. This was a prison after all, and being that bold could earn her unwanted attention from the wrong people and the powers that be.]

I was a little in shock when I first arrived, so I didn’t catch a lot of the information that was transmitted. Is there anyone that has some time to give me a quick run down? I’d really appreciate it.

Oh! If there is a bakery somewhere maybe we could meet there?

[Marinette gives another smile, more warm than the cautious one when she introduced herself. With a small self nod she ends the transmission.]

[She already thinks things are twenty times more complicated. She had half believed that this was an akuma effect, but now with Adrien here confirming that it really was a prison, then what the heck was going on?]

[She wants to see him and make sure he really is okay.]

I'm fine. Really! This place...it's got a few things you need to watch out for but overall it's pretty nice.

[There's the issue about the raptors. There's been a lot of strange things happen lately, but he's used to that sort of thing back home.]

Gladly! [And he means it.] Is there anything nearby? I should be able to identify where you are by what you can see.

[Well at least he's not hurt, but she's still a little freaked out. She just waves her hands on the video feed and looks around her as she bites her lower lip hopping up and down on the tips of her toes as she looks around at her surroundings.]

I'm on a street with people. Uh near some shops? Sorry. I'm not really sure where I am still. I guess I could ask someone?

[He aims to distract her, knowing she's probably pretty freaked out right now to find herself in jail. He wonders what sort of crimes a person as perfect and kind as Marinette would have to land her in here.]

Do you know the best thing about those shops? Everything is free. You don't have to wear the issued prison clothing either. You can go shop in the stores for something new right away.

The ball and chain will be there until tomorrow. Until it comes off, you'll have to work around it.

[The smile immediately short circuits her brain again and she opens and shuts her mouth for a moment. She hears his words and processes them, but very slowly. She finally realizes that this is not the time, or place.]

Oh. Yeah, I can do that I think.

[She flips the camera to show where exactly she is. The clothing wasn't the worst thing, she wanted to make sure Tikki was okay, so maybe she could grab some cookies in preparation.

[She sees him and her heart hammers in her chest. She turns off the video and moves towards him after spotting him.]

Yes I see you!

[She moves down the street, jogging towards him in the jumper as she settles into a walk a few feet from him. Her hands reach out despite herself as she grabs his arm with a gentle hand.]

Why are you here Adrien? I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong.

Yeah, I know. Weird, right? I can't imagine a single reason they'd have to bring you here.

[Misdirection. Successful. He doesn't really want to answer that question. Admitting he's been brought here because he constantly sexually harasses Ladybug as Cat Noir isn't something he'd want anyone knowing. Let alone admitting most of his crimes have to do with things he's done because he's one Cat Noir. But telling someone he is actually interested in getting to know more about, like Marinette? Never. No way. She'd be horrified and dislike him even more. He just recently got her talking to him and she probably still doesn't trust him.]

It's a pretty laid back place though. For instance, you don't need to stay in that jumpsuit. We can run and get you something else quick, if you want.

[She couldn't really say that she deserved to be there for stalking. Especially since the person she had been stalking was him. Schooling her reaction, or trying her best she blushes and rubs the back of her head with a sheepish smile. She holds onto him for a little while longer, but then she forces herself to let go of his arm.

She needed to act natural.]

Y-yeah someone told me that I could do that and also that this thing would come off eventually if I behaved myself.

[She motioned down towards her ankle. She blinked and looked back up to him shifting a little ways out of his personal space.]

Sorry, I was just glad to see you. I mean, to see someone I know from home.

[He scratches his head, looking away as he attempts to respond to her words. He's a little embarrassed to admit how happy he is to see someone from home. Especially to get the opportunity to befriend someone he's been wanting to get to know better for a long time.]

No! Don't be sorry. I'm glad to see you too!

[That probably doesn't sound very nice of him, considering they are in jail.]

Not that I'm happy we're in jail, but happy to have someone from home too.

[He gives out a sigh, chiding himself internally before continuing.]

I don't make friends very easily and it's nice to have someone around I already know.

[Yes, together. Though, she does already have a great partner in Chat. But he isn't here, and that wasn't something she could help. She spares a small thought for him as she tries not to worry too much about the other and Paris for the moment.

As Adrien spoke, her cheeks heat up a little more as she nods vigorously in agreement.]

Yeah! We'll see if we can't do something to help everyone to honor them.

[It was an automatic thing, and when he holds out his fist her hand comes up to bump it, but when he pulls away she smiles and turns to the side to take away from the awkward movements.]

Maybe a place to stay? If we're going to be here for a while, it's probably a good idea. I think there are some spare apartments in my building.

There's a few extra rooms in my place if you don't feel comfortable living alone.

[Just don't mention the camembert in the fridge.]
