[1] Martha had been sick the last time the lights went out. She knew not to go out without some sort of weapon, but the only thing she had was a wooden stake she'd kept around after her incident with Spike. She shoved it up the sleeve of her jacket and grabbed a torch. No use in being completely blind. Time to make sure people were okay.
[2] Martha turned a corner and found herself face to face with the biggest wasp she'd ever seen. No screams, but she certainly did gasp. She hoped to back away slowly, but the creature was having none of it. She tries to bat it away, but mostly she's working on running. She'd like to avoid getting stung, but she's starting to think that won't be possible as the wasp charges her.
[3 - Later in the day] Well, that had been a fun few hours. The only signs that Martha had been stung include the general sweatiness, and an occasional giggle that escaped at inappropriate moments. Most of the poison had left her body though.
