Cut for vampirism (with sexual undertones).
While not overly busy, the past few days have been tense and unsettled. What, with both Ichiru and Ai's arrival; one being heart rendering and bittersweet, while the other was a shock which neither Zero nor Yuuki could have ever seen coming. To some degree it's been easier for Zero to accept Ai. While of course Yuuki loves her daughter, there's so much more to her existence that had shaken her. Either way, he was quietly thankful of the warmth Ai could offer, no matter what. It's everything that Yuuki needs.
In turn Zero had been sure to give both of them their space, however especially to Yuuki. There can be no rushing this. . . whatever all of this fully entails.
This particular night he had come over with a grocery bag full of the makings of dinner - a meat pie, not too unlike something that was served at the festival the other day - for them. Having finished cleaning and putting the dishes away, his attention settles fully on her. The bracelet around her wrist stood out.
"Yuuki. . ." He really didn't know why he should be so tentative (and he certainly shouldn't be uncomfortable or timid) about it. At the same time, he probably didn't need to say anything for her to recognize what he was trying to get across.
