Except all of it is something Zero never in his life could have imagined would have heard before. It's completely different than the way things were before that night. More often than not it's Zero who always silently read Ichiru. It wasn't always easy to, and sometimes nothing could be gleaned from his twin's personality and behavior, but that's usually all there was.
So for him to plainly apologize hits deep. Much more than Zero would like it to. It's a given that he returns the gesture. The embrace possibly too tight, but obviously having been something he's longed to be able to do. As Ichiru died in his arms didn't count.
More so, though, is the way his emotions further get the best of him; they become more physically seen and felt. Even if he, too, has his face buried in the crook of Ichiru's neck. Zero swallows his feelings down, but tears still begin to well up. He squeezes his eyes shut to stop them. Even still, though, is he trembling slightly all the same.]
