[ It's weird how one of the few (the only?) married couples in prison so far has failed to nail down a proper double date, but getting one with Tpn's bosses² makes up for their general failure. The apartment has been tidied up, chubby five-month old puppies reluctantly washed, spider cages polished and enough food to feed an army is currently being cooked in the kitchen. Of course there's pie. There's always pie. ]

[ they arrive slightly later than leia intended, but han had to change a few times before they left the apartment. (see: she made him change. none of his initial choices were double date appropriate, in her opinion.) it's not a formal gathering, so the princess is without her usual regal flare, but she's still dressed quite nicely with her long hair plaited to one side in a tight, single braid that hangs over her shoulder. she apologizes when they do get there, blaming han's inability to dress himself (naturally) on their delay. ]

[ This should be fun, in a mildly humiliating sort of way. Han's experience in dates with more than one couple are fairly limited to either cons or that one meal on Bakura where he nearly fought about half the people at the table. He'd be a lot more relaxed if he hadn't been made to change so much. ]

Too bad Chewie isn't here. Wouldn't have to worry about leftovers.

[ Commenting on the size of Wookiee appetite is probably not the smoothest move in date history, but he's trying. And he misses the big furry oaf, which means at some point in the night he will end up gravitating to the small furry oafs who will hopefully like him better than Gold Three. ]

Yeah. [ There's a not entirely awkward moment where Han rubs the back of his neck and debates the merits of explaining Chewie, but he figures that if Chuck married Ton, she'll be able to wrap her head around a space bigfoot. ] Tall, furry, and probably wouldn't leave too much for the rest of us if you let him.
