[Well, since she feels she should introduce herself, not that probably everyone has heard her talking about brains already. The technology is fine for her to figure out. What to say... there lies the problem. Amy wasn't shy but she wasn't sure about attention either. Growing up in the back of a car, moving from school to school on her mothers not so peace and love hippy type whim of where they went and when meant she was nearly always the new kid. She didn't like that this in a way reminded her of that.

She made a face as she turned the device on.]

Um, hey. I'm not sure what I'm meant to be saying. I wasn't expecting to be here...

[She gives a sort of laugh and a little slightly sad smile as she tucks part of her hair back behind her ear.]

So, I'll just say hi. And ask where can I get some different clothes?

[There's something so familiar about the girl on the video. Sam can't quite place her or maybe it's just too hard to believe that in a place that can collect anyone from anywhere and any time that she'd be here. Maybe if this was a few years from now—at home—seeing a familiar string of murders and knowing what and maybe who he was dealing with then he might come up with it faster. Right now there's just something about her. So instead of cataloging the new arrival and moving on to the next he opens a feed.]

...does that sound sort of creepy? It's not supposed to be. I swear. I'm actually in the fashion industry. My father...he's a designer and I've been modeling his clothes for years. I'm actually pretty knowledgeable about this sort of thing.
