Day 367 - video
[He doesn't come from a world with a lot of modern technology but he's sure visited enough to get used to it. That's why when trying to figure out the communication device, Kurogane figures it out fairly quickly.]

Another new world, huh? [Have one unsurprised new inmate, MarinaNova.] Never thought there'd be one that seems to only be a prison.

Oi, listen up. I'm looking for a couple of people. One goes by the name of Fai - tall, blond, probably has an idiotic grin on his face. Another is the kid who calls himself Syaoran - brown hair, serious but helpful. Then there's Mokona - a weird creature who looks like a meatbun with rabbit ears and talks.

[Kurogane doesn't ask about Sakura, he knows where she is... well, one of her anyway.]

I also wouldn't complain if anyone had any information about this world that they were willing to share.

What kind of information are you after? I've been here awhile, I can probably answer whatever questions you have.

Information about the wardens and other inmates.

[Because he knows that he's killed before so the chances of there being people who are worse than him who are here are good.]

Does anyone know how they got here? Why doesn't this place have more people in it if it can pull them from various worlds?

[Oh, and a more personal question.] How long have you been here?

This is my 220th day. As for your other questions... those answers still lie firmly in what we don't know.

The number of people currently in the dome fluctuates. There were more of us when I first arrived, only a handful during the first couple of weeks of the prison... sometimes we get a large influx of newcomers, others hardly any at all.

I have no idea if there's a pattern to this. It's difficult to keep track when people come and go unnoticed.

[Those numbers might disturb him if Kurogane hasn't spent a long time away from his world already.

But he doesn't like that there are so many unanswered important questions.]

Any of them that I should keep an eye on? This is a prison and I imagine that some of them have actually warranted a stay here.

[Even if his own list of crimes wasn't that far off.]

Actually... no. Not right now — not to my knowledge, at least. We've had some problems in the past, but it's been quiet lately.

Most of us aren't criminals in the traditional sense, just like this isn't exactly a prison in the traditional sense.

I guess that's good to know. [Though it doesn't sit right with him that all of these people are stuck here and probably haven't done a whole lot to deserve it.]

So the warden takes actions and twists them into crimes for a lot of people?

Something like that. For instance, I'm in law enforcement back home so naturally any casualties I'm responsible for in the line of duty comes up as murder here.

There are examples of when they're been a lot more creative than that, but that seems to be the logic they follow. If it can be construed into a crime, then it is.
