This again...

[With a frown Yuuki can't believe that once more she is sporting not only the dome's most fashionable anklet, complete with built in hunter technology, perfect for suppressing vampire abilities! But even worse she's somehow in the orange jumpsuit once more. Not only that, but she woke up upon the ground in the center of the butterfly pavilion. It's not that she hasn't napped in public before. But she'd definitely remember changing into orange comfortable clothes to do.

Not to mention...her head feels somehow- foggy. She's not really sure how else to put it. What had she been doing before now? Marina is as familiar as ever, but something feels off. Which can only mean one thing, right? At the very least she remembers how to use their communication device. All at once she flickers up onto the screen on the network. With a sandwich from The Bistro in hand (she was hungry and thought it might help clear her head) she gives a small wave.]

So... does someone want to tell me what my punishment is this time? I distinctly remember putting on a performance not all that long ago and that should have been the end of that. I mean- it wasn't that bad. _Right? [Don't answer if you thought the concert was.]

Somehow I feel really disorientated.

[Although if she's back in an orange jumpsuit... had she left? But on all those other occasions she had supposedly disappeared she hadn't been forced back into prison gear. Just what's going on now?]

Zero...? And Yuuri-kun, too. Anyone really. What's going on? [The fact that she got a welcome message again... she hadn't disappeared again, had she? And if so... how long has she been away for?]

[She frowns, expression clearly unhappy.]

It's not uncommon here. For people to disappear, only to reappear again later. Although it's been such a long time in my case. [Which is bizarre to her.]

Sometimes people disappear and reappear again as though nothing has happened. Other times they wind up being brought back in prison garb like this. And other times, even less happily, people will disappear and reappear to this place once more... but without recalling their previous stay.

[It's hard to tell if such a concept baffles him.

It might not be seen, but one of his hands balls into a tight fist. Less mistakes, is it. He did the very best he could back home. Making mistakes would have meant more would have died. If that's the way his actions are to be considered as, then he didn't care. They weren't mistakes to him; not having tried even harder would be the only one. There had been far more sacrifices throughout the entirety of the exodus they all made; nearly twenty thousand lives gone.

The more he thinks about it, the more his frustration ends up surfacing upon his expression, head tipped with his hair shading his eyes.]

Why? Why are we even here at all? . . . [A beat] And our real bodies? How much is known about that?

To be fair, I don't know...

[Part of this she's just discovering herself. She's just as confused and lost. The situation is frustrating, even if this place is nothing new.]

I can tell you that the one's really responsible for this place find our stay here a game. If you ask me, I think it's all just done as an experiment for amusement's sake, while the ones in charge of it try to disguise their kidnapping by pretending to convict us.

[Because she certainly doesn't believe in their authority.]

Our crimes are all true, but often taken out of context and misconstrued. It's just twisting things around to fit their own selfish needs. [And while she has no way to one hundred percent confirm that, she believes it.

. . . It's never fun seeing someone upset, though. And this boy very obviously is. Frowning, she expels a soft sigh.]

I'm sorry. It's all bad news.

Is it known how many of them there are? Have there been attempts to go against them?

[He can imagine there have, yet he asks anyway. However that brings something else to mind: ]

Is there any further threat to this place? What of knowledge of the world above?

[Because one way to safeguard humanity against the Festum is to go deep beneath the water, too far for the aliens to be able to read their thoughts. With Marina's location as it is, and for as much as Kazuki doesn't like the idea of it, he can't fully rule out the possibility.

He just gives a shake of his head.]

. . . No. It's fine. Sorry to bombard you with all of this. You're just the first person I've really spoken with after I woke.

[He knows he can't let his frustrations get the better of him.]

There's two wardens, but as for who is responsible above the computer systems monitoring us here, we don't know. At least I don't. {It may be they've learned more since her time away.]

There have definitely been efforts, but so far there's been nothing successful. [The defense force is dedicated to helping find a way to escape, but she doesn't think discussing that over the network so openly is the best idea, either.]

We don't know anything about the world above, but there have definitely been threats in the past. Moreso within the dome than from outside however. Anything from raptors stalking the streets, to great monsters preying upon our fears and emotions. Sometimes I think it might be the work of the wardens. Or the ones who control them. But other time's the threat has been caused by other individuals like us.

[It's all that he can really say to everything. Dinosaurs, though? Maybe he shouldn't be surprised. . . . Right? His own world has aliens from a distant universe. Maybe he shouldn't be too startled by the fact. Same goes for the mention with regards to the fears and emotions part. Not that it's not all disturbing.

More than anything else, it's her last remark that actually sticks to him. He's not entirely a stranger to fighting one of his own kind, having had an enemy out of the Human Army, but it doesn't settle with him.]

Internal strife. . . Has that happened very often?

[He can't help but ask. He lets out a breath.]

Don't worry about it. Ask away. It's a lot to take in, I know. [And she fully understands. It may take some getting used to. A lot of getting used to.]

Unfortunately, there have been a number of problems caused by inmates in the past. We've created a defense force to try and deal with those, however. And I know the people on that force are very fair and capable individuals.

You'll want to talk to Kitty. She's sort of in charge of things. Depending on what position you'll want to go for, you'll have to pass both a psychological exam as well as a physical one if you're applying for a combative position. There's a number of supernatural beings here, so if you do join the force you'll want to be aware of that.

[He's always been very physically able, as well as psychologically, too, really. Pilots especially need to possess a strong mindset, among other things.

His eyes slightly widen. . . but really, like the mention of dinosaurs, should he be all that surprised? Even he, himself, is no longer just a typical human.]

Or if all of these same beings are still here now, but off of the top of my head there's been vampires, zombies, witches and wizards, demons, and other supernatural creatures. At the moment, there's a lot of upheaval. [She frowns...] A lot more than I would like. [It's upsetting just how bad things have become since Kaname's disappearance.]

Where I come from there are humans and vampires. But... the person who took over and claimed the title of King among the vampires has disappeared after running off to carry out his own version of justice. The humans are frantic because no one knows what he's doing, and the vampires are concerned because he's targeting some, while others are taking advantage of the chaos and running rogue.

[An arm wrapping around her waist, her brows knit.]

It's... far from peaceful at the moment, though there are individuals who are trying to help bring around some order.

Well... generally only the Hunter's Association is aware of the existence of vampires among humans. The government keeps the existence of vampires a secret.

[For better or worse.]

Thousands of years ago there was a large group of pureblood who attempted to take over. They would have, probably, if it wasn't for another group that didn't agree with them or their methods. They were able to create a weapons from the sacrifice of one that would allow them to kill even a pureblood, if properly done. So in the end with the help of those vampires and the one who sacrificed herself they were able to get the situation under control.

[She sighs heavily.] I'd say tensions between hunters and vampires has always been pretty tense, though.

Up until he was fourteen, Kazuki - along with most all of the children of the island, save only for Soushi - had no idea that they lived among such chaos. They weren't aware that, save for their own man-made island, Japan had been completely destroyed. Although this has since become completely transparent. The entire population knows. It's been nearly ten years for him.]

[Although, it's been speculated that the Mir even had a part to play in the creation of humanity, itself. However the Festum only really began their attack for around forty years.]

So, an element of the opponent is what ultimately aided the humans. It's better than nothing.

[Similar can be said about his world. He still frowns a bit, though.]

Is it a widespread kind of situation? [Can one not fully escape it?]

Admittedly I haven't... been all that far from home. I haven't been able to hear or see much what it's like in other countries. But the hunter's headquarters used to located close to where I lived before. I would say that things are more concentrated within Japan. But vampires can and do live all around the world.

[There's no law saying they have to stay in one location. It's only that their main government body is there.]

I'm sure there are hunters stationed in other countries as well, but the parent metal used to be within Japan.
