Well I am a pretty likable guy, I can't fault them for taking a shine to me. Flattering, but also majorly annoying.

My head feels like swiss cheese when it comes to putting together time spent AWOL. But you've got me wondering if there is any link to the people who stick around the longest. If what you're saying's true about this being some simulation then there shouldn't be an excuse for favoritism. Maybe something mental, like a strength of will? [hand gesture bc now he's getting into this and he put too much sugar in his coffee but is still stirring] Extension of belief? More willing to cooperate with this surrounding for whatever reason versus reject it?
