Day 331 (Strange Relations) | Action (closed and open) - backdated to mid- morning

[he emerges from Sector Six a bit worse for the wear, torn and stained clothes and a rather mangled communicator. It took some time and effort to get it working properly after the flood, leaving him lost in the sector for several days - not that it was an entirely unenjoyable experience. In fact, he may have remained there a bit longer than was unavoidable, exploring, and for that reason he's feeling a little bit guilty. His sister Verity surely must have worried... (and it's a strange thing, that every time today he's called her his sister Ikol has expressed irritation and refused - or perhaps been unable - to explain why)

He makes a detour to a clothing store before he heads to their shared apartment, hoping to find something more presentable]

[now less grubbily attired, he approaches his and Verity's apartment with no small amount of caution - but he puts on a brave face as he opens the door]

Verity! I have returned, most victorious, to tell a wonderful tale as incredible as it is true... of a deep and treacherous wood, great floating rocks, and of perilous danger narrowly yet thoroughly avoided!

[Verity had woken up with the nagging feeling of a lie in her head, but despite her best efforts she wasn't able to figure out the cause of it. As she made her morning coffee she decided that if I the feeling didn't go away she would ask Sam about it later.

When Loki entered her apartment she was curled up on her couch with her coffee, hardly looking like a sister who should be sick with worry. But, she we used to a Loki coming to her apartment unannounced so she listened to him in hopes he'd explain why he was there. when one didn't come she just stared at him for a moment.]

That's... nice?

Exceedingly so! It all began the day of the flood... [he pauses a moment, looking around before he launches into a full recitation] I do hope, what with my absence and lack of communicability - it broke, the machine broke, I swear! - I do hope you didn't assume me swallowed by the whims of the interdimensional stabilizing device.

The vast and wild and ever-fascinating Sector Six. I found a most wondrous forest, filled with creeping vines and gorgeous flowers... and such amazing beings! Some of them are like two different sorts of Midgardian creatures put together.

[what he doesn't tell her: that some of these amazing beings almost killed him]
