[Kitty has to fight the urge to take evasive positioning. After all the point is to see if Aigis can touch her even phased because that might mean she can touch Tyki too.
So she remains still even as the other girl charges forward. Last time she did that with someone made of metal coming at her it didn't end well. Of course, that time Kitty wasn't making the attempt to phase. It would have worked with Piotr.
Things are a little different with Aigis. It seems to half-work. Kitty feels the impact which shouldn't happen. It's not just a spacial awareness like she normally has that allows her not to solidify into something. This is a painful, searing sort of thing, but it isn't the rending of flesh and bone either. Aigis is passing through her, but it's like she isn't fully phased. Kitty grits her teeth waiting for the contact to stop so she can solidify again, dropping to her knees as her head throbs.
It takes a moment to look back at her newest teammate to see how she fared. Normally Kitty's power disrupts circuits. It can fry electronics completely or sometimes just give it a momentary system shock. The more safeties for shock protection the less harm of course, but it can still cause a momentary scramble. It can even work on human neurons, but that takes intention and effort on her part. It's different with technology. She can't control what happens to it. Can't prevent it. But nothing about this experience was exactly what she had in mind so she's not sure what happened to Aigis.]
(OOC: Just let me know if any of that doesn't work!)
