[Habits were a good thing. They created stability in unstable environments. Lately, Tieria's habits had been very loose, especially for him, but that was mainly because he had been reluctant to get attached to anything. His mind still was a bit reluctant as he was still thinking of using his time to plan escapes. However, planning an escape required a bit more than just free time from one person. It was going to have to be a joint effort, and possibly with some unsavory types.
And it would be nice to have something else to focus on once in a while. Most everything he'd been doing had been "serious" learning, like criminal investigation, paranormal research in light of some of the powers people in the dome exhibited, scientific pursuits, and, of course, using the DF patrols as an excuse to watch for weaknesses and openings in the dome's infrastructure while fulfilling his purpose to prevent conflict and protect those unable to protect themselves. His other interests, cooking, assistant teaching, reading, the memorial garden project, and the cat, still left him feeling like he was lacking something.
Perhaps this would help.]
I would like to. I am still undecided as to whether I should focus on a particular instrument or not.
[It certainly wasn't an issue of him being able to learn more than one. He could likely easily pick up the technical skills for just about anything. But would it be expressionless and bland like his cooking?]
