Dome denizens! I feel a certain amount of what I believe mortals call 'deja vu'... I have been subjected, once more, to a fate worse than death! The Orange Jumper of Doom. [he tugs distastefully at the collar. He knows where the clothing stores are of course, but everything's so out of sorts he feels the need to make contact and find out what's going on]

[anyone wandering in Sector 3 might find him leaning against one of the willow trees in an attempt to look casual and lazy but really because he's terribly dizzy. He's keeping an eye out for danger though, glancing up from the video feed semi-frequently]

Uh, alright. You would get a better explanation from someone else though. [He just took what he'd been told at face-value and went glassy-eyed with the technical details. Let the people with a better grasp for that sort of thing handle it.] This prison, everything you see here, you... isn't real. It's virtual. The real you is in a pod in somewhere else, in some kind of sleep, or coma, or something.

... fascinating. I believe there is a film that has just such a concept at its base. Perhaps our wardens are familiar with it and found it inspiring. How did you come to know such a thing? Who are you? [said only curiously, without any accusatory bend]

Oh! He - [very brief moment of panic. It's this cursed wish-wash of new memories messing him up - he'd been doing so well here before, pretending there was no bad old Loki who'd gone before him, he'd had something like a nice fresh start without that knowledge, and now he's gone and - ]

- he died, or so I've heard. Something of the sort. [calmer, said with a shrug, and then moving on breezily] Two months you said? I must then have been absent for quite some time... [since he's certain he never saw him on the video feed before]

[Nico pursed his lips, not so much doubting the answer, but the way it was delivered. Helios had faded when Apollo took over as the sun god. He watched Pan fade away with his own eyes. He'd just never heard of a new god sweeping in to take the exact same role - name and all.

But - shrug! - whatever. Different religion - most likely different world.]
