[Nico doesn’t spend a lot of time looking in mirrors. That might be obvious by the way his hair is usually an unbrushed mess. He only sparingly glares at himself when he brushes his teeth in the morning. This morning is an exception. The him looking back appears heavier – his cheeks are round, the bags under his eyes are gone. His skin isn’t sickly and green tinged and leached of its color like his father’s – like it become after the Labyrinth and Tartarus and the jar. It’s a healthy olive complexion, like it had been when he was small. Everything about him looks healthy. Even his hair, curling in every direction. When the fuck did this happen?!

He’s in a bit of a daze as he wonders out of the apartment to find breakfast and go to work at the store. He might also be caught walking boxes from Sector 2 to his store in Sector 3 (over and over again). He might like some help with that, actually …Occasionally he’ll stop to gape at his reflection in windows and mirrors. Just … what?]

	Well, she really does hate to lose. It's why I have to let her win every once in awhile when we spar or else she gets really cranky. [Truthfully, the only one that ends up cranky after their sparring sessions is him because he never wins.] Anyway, what's been going on with you? I haven't really seen you since you were a dog.
