[Inara's eyebrows lift and she stares back at the image of Mall before he hands up. She shakes her head, she really shouldn't be overly surprised. She really never knows how Mal is going to react to things.
But when he comes back again and actually speaks, her eyebrows are still lifted and she waits a moment just to make sure that he's not going to hang up again. But he doesn't, so she decides it's safe to reply.]
