The pacing makes her tense up, as does the anger radiating from him that she's starting to feel radiating through their bond, something only she could make sense of right now. For all that her human (well, sort of human) mind could make sense of without all that vampire extrasensory stuff that she lacked.
"I was--" Images of her grandfather grumbling to dust enter her mind and she shakes her head, denying his request. "I don't want to talk about the last thing I remember. I was there and then I was here."
