[He cries out as even that much movement shifts the stake still buried in his side, and grits his teeth against the pain. Okay, he's going to have to do this the hard way, isn't he? Spike's half off him now, but it's not enough and he needs to get out of here. He could quite easily shoot himself right here, right now to force a quick heal, but Ianto's made such a big thing about being with him when he resurrects that he doesn't think he'd ever forgive him if just went ahead and did it with Ianto only feet away on the other side of the door.
So he clenches his teeth so hard he can hear them grinding together and heaves Spike off him, letting out a loud grunt of effort as he does so. And then, one hand still clutching his side, he rolls over, somehow gets to his feet, and staggers across to the door. He bangs on it, and calls out breathlessly.]
Spell's worked. I need out for a minute!
[It feels like he waits forever, clutching the door jamb to hold himself up, but eventually he hears the key in the lock and the bolts being drawn, and he staggers out, barely even noticing who it is who's come to replace him.]
Won't be long. He's docile anyway.
[He hears the door shut behind him, and looks round for Ianto.]
