[Jack's announcement to the DF gave Tieria the exact excuse he needed to avoid Lyle today. He didn't know really why it mattered to him so much, but he wasn't up to the possibility of being scrutinized during the economics class.

He holed up himself up in the back corner of the library under the pretense of doing research on vampires and gypsy magic for the Defense Force. Really, it was just that he was trying to avoid crowds.]

[He sounded a little forced at being steady and keeping his tone flat. He was also speaking kind of quickly compared to his usual speech patterns.]

Something came up. I will not be available to assist with class today.

[He wasn't a great liar.]

[Even after these couple of hours of being in the prison had passed, Tenma still wasn't comfortable with everything that was surrounding him. It was a little hard to go from being in the end of a Holy War to this... calm enviorment. It was a nice change, yes, but he still wished Alone and Sasha were there with him as well.

Since he didn't trust the communicator so well yet, the Pegasus Saint was just walking around, trying to get used to the layout without using the map inside the headset. So he had somehow ended up inside the library, amazed at the amount of books that were there.

It didn't take him long to see Tiera, and he approached him.]

[Nothing at the moment. He was distracted and his focus wasn't on the book at all. In fact, in a very uncharacteristic situation, he'd actually read the same two to three paragraphs over again about eight times.

He glared at the book as if it had wronged him. He didn't, however, look up as the newcomer approached... like he already knew someone was coming.]

A book on gypsy lore and legend.

[It surprised him a little that this man hadn't even looked up when Tenma spoke. He was quite sure he was concentrated in his book so much that he hadn't noticed that he was there at all. But apparently he was wrong. The concentration he had while reading reminded him of Acuarius Degel. It was well known by everyone in the Sanctuary that the Acuarius temple was more like a library than a temple, and Degel was known as the wisest Saint of them all.]

And is it good? You seem really focused on it.

	No. [He didn't want to get into the discussion on escape right now. He was feeling pretty lousy about that enough already.] It is an attempt to protect people in the dome without resorting to severe violence and potential killing. What do you have to offer, then? You do not even know what it is we are up against. How do you know if you can even fight it? How do you know if you can even survive against it?

[Tieria had no patience for people who might be all talk. He didn't care of someone thought they could fight. He wanted to know if they actually could. He wasn't going to tell him about the Defense Force or anything along those lines until he was sure this person could actually contribute.]

I don't need to know what we're up against, if it's hurting people something has to be done!

I'm a Saint of Athena, the Pegasus Saint. I don't have my Cloth yet, but tomorrow after this thing comes off, I'm sure I'll be able to use my attacks.

[Tenma was determined to help and that showed in his eyes. He wasn't going to let this go now that he knew something bad was happening in the prison.]

I enjoyed her company while she was here. [His voice was almost a little sad as he said that, like he missed having her around.

He considered his next words carefully.]

If she selected you as one of her Saints, then I think you can be trusted. [He trusted her, after all. And he knew she chose the Saints. She had told him as much.] If you think you can fight, and you want to help, then speak to Kitty Pryde. She is in charge of the Defense Force. [He paused for a moment, and then clarified further.] You will want to speak to the older one. There is two of them here.

	[He nodded.] Very well. I recommend going to her tomorrow after you have your abilities returned to you and you can test how this prison may affect them. There is a restriction in place. I am not so much concerned with what you can do at the moment. I am still looking for an answer about using gypsy magic to put a soul inside a vampire. [He waved the book at Tenma.]

If you want to help today, you can look through the others books to see if they have any information on that.

[There was a stack of about ten to fifteen books on the table next to Tieria.]

He was momentarily stunned and then nodded.]

In a way. In the world where this vampire is from, all vampires lose their souls when they are turned. One way to stop them from overhunting humans and bring back morality to them is for a gypsy to cast a curse, implanting a soul back into them.

This particular vampire had a soul upon arriving here in Marina. However, something happened during a disappearance, and he no longer has it. Hence the reason for all the attacks.

[If the kid was going to help, he should at least have some basic backstory.]

[He already felt useless because he didn't have his powers, so he felt like he had to do at least something to help. There was someone hurting people in th eprison after all. So he listened as Tiera explained things to him.]

Well... I can just speak from my experience, but do you hae the soul? I had... someone try to rip mine away a couple of hours before coming here. Part of it was still inside of me, so I could grab it and try to force it back in.

[Tenma uncounciously places his hand over his heart. Having his own mother trying to rip out his soul had been incredibly painful, but in the end he knew she had done it to help him.]

It ended up breaking a little, but it came back to me. Most of my soul became one with my Cloth. But I don't know if it'll work with him, because my soul is... different from others.

	They are working on a way to get it, but we will have it when the attempt to put it back inside him happens. [He considered that.] I do not believe there is any soul left in him to attach to in that way. Some believe he likes things better without it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Maybe it's better that way. I mean, putting a soul back in by force can kill you. Or at least that was what Pandora kept shouting at me. But if he's dangerous because he doesn't have a soul, then we hae to make sure he gets one. For everyone's safety. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
