Rowan groaned in pain, having been forcefully woken up by hitting the ground. That was a first for him. He had a queen sized bed, how did he end up on the ground? Pushing himself up to a sitting position, he looked around. Oh, that's why he was on the ground. Who's bright idea was it for him to sleep on a park bench? Wait, why was he in a park, and not at home? Did he have one too many drinks and just passed out somewhere? Oh this was making his head hurt...

And then the welcome message. He managed to get through the opening statements, but when the list of his supposed crimes came up, he was done. So done. He pulled the communicator off of his face, then sat there staring at the strange device, contemplating everything and muttering to himself.

"Crazy technology, overalls ripped off from every prison show ever, waking up in the middle of a park with no knowledge of how I got here... Clearly, either someone is really good at coming up with elaborate pranks, or I've gone crazy."

Then he leaned over and dropped his forehead onto Aidan's shoulder.

"My brain wasn't designed for such deep conversation, it's starting to fizzle out. Can we just skip to the part where I ask you to sleep with me even though you have a boyfriend, you say thanks but no thanks for the same reason, and then we never speak of this again?"

Whoa. Whoa whoa that is really forward and he's not really used to forward and what do you even say? No, of course. That's what you say because he does have a boyfriend. A boyfriend that hasn't been here for three weeks and that's... that's tough for a young man in his sexual prime.

He swallows, awkwardly patting Rowan on the shoulder.

"We just met."

	Yup, that's what he thought. So straightened up, shrugging off Aidan's hand. "Right, of course, because instant attraction isn't a thing. Sorry, I'll try to keep things like that to myself from now on." Well, that would've been a quick and easy end of it if he wasn't so damn keen on keeping people happy. Should really let this go, but then he wouldn't be Aidan so... here we are.

"Hey, hey... c'mon. You don't have to do that." Awkwardly combing the hand back through his hair now that it can't do awkward shoulder pats anymore.

"'s just... no one's really come on to me like that before. You kinda surprised me."

	Yup, he tended to do that a lot. He gave off a little self-deprecating chuckle. "Y'know, it's true we just met. You don't have to put up with anything from me if it makes you uncomfortable. 	"You just described most of my favorite people, y'know." He smiles, a bit lopsided. "It ain't so bad. Hell, if you wanna make me uncomfortable you're gonna have to try a lot harder than that." Flustered maybe and embarrassed and not sure what to do with himself, but he... really doesn't feel that uncomfortable. It's more an adjustment period than a do not want. "Couple a months, maybe... wasn't that long ago that we had one, but they show up every so often. Usually unannounced... normally I'd warn you, but I got a feelin' you'll have a field day."

A small part of him wants to direct him to Jack, but that guy actually has a boyfriend in the dome and also Aidan might be enjoying the attention a little. Not that he'd admit to that, ever. Nope nope.
