I can only speak to the generally-accepted physiological effects on the average human. And, in all fairness, I am sure there are many individuals who maintain a higher degree of logical reason in spite of inebriation; it is merely one potential reason why someone would willingly become inebriated.

If I may ask, is your current state unintentional?
