[ Last time this holiday came around, he wasn't exactly spoken for. It was all sort of up in the air (less so by the end of the day) and that gave him a whole lot of freedom. He may not look it, but Spike's a loyal kind of guy — if he's bound to a lady, he won't go out chasing someone else all willy nilly.

Keeping that in mind, he should probably be more attentive today. ]
