[There is a lot of handwaving and mouth opening and closing before Reg starts talking, which takes a few moments before he nods, smooths his outfit out, and actually does so but hey, it's progress from an imitation of a goldfish.]

I'm a, I'm ah, Reginald Barclay, Lieutenant Barclay. [This is starting out so well.] I was looking to, see if anyone would happen to know of the, the [Hand waving in a circle is a go.] Federation or Earth.

[Because a prison under the ocean is clearly not on Earth and if it's in Federation space he'd really like to know how they managed to keep it under the radar.] And if this is some joke, something involving the holodeck it's very, very good and well done. [And that's a nervous laugh.] You can, you can stop now, I'd very much like to leave, leave now. I have dinner plans and I'd very very much like, to get back to them.

[That's some hand wringing, and there's the slightest hint of pleading there in his voice as he glances to the side.] Thank you, in advance, if uh anyone answers me.

[OOC: Reg is wandering about all over today just to try and figure things out as well. And I'm going to be slow tonight because my computer is acting weird.]

[ okay, okay, she shouldn't be that surprised. but really... first he follows her on vacation and now he's following her to prison? what is this, the holodeck? no, well, neither she nor will are entirely sure this isn't some sort of simulation, so she really shouldn't be surprised.

but either way, she's clearing her calendar for the next like. month. ]

And look following her on vacation was totally legit okay? However speaking of such things, he looks about the area nervously.]

Is ah, Commander Riker here or is this, some sort of therapy thing. [So descriptive.]

He's here. This wasn't my idea. [ so no, not a therapy thing. or at least not one that this counselor endorses.

but in a more calming tone, she adds: ] Reg, are you all right? Did you just find yourself here today?

This wasn't, your, your idea? [And here he had his hopes up that it had been, he's just going to rub his face and try not to get worse at the idea that Riker is here.

That calming tone however is not very helpful over the network.] Well it's either that or I really like the color orange. And I'm, well, I'm fine except for this.

[Which gets a small laugh and a nervous smile that's at least genuine.] Did you arrive here today?

No. If it were, it would have been done in a much more appropriate way and you would have known before I implemented it. [ because she's nice like that. ]

Reg, look at me. Where are you? Do you know?

[ he's not fine and she knows it. she's ignoring his question for the moment. right now she needs to worry more on making sure he doesn't completely flip out on her. this would be difficult on a normal day, let alone a day she's lacking her empathic powers which she is never tell him about ever. she has to tread carefully. ]

So he's very careful not to talk about any of the myriad things that might make him even more jumpy.</strike> ]

[ she recognizes his name, but not because of her vessel or project pathfinder; seven's yet to experience those events, hailing from a much earlier point in the timeline. it's familiar to her, because he's part of the enterprise's crew manifest, both the D and the E. like voyager, information pertaining to those vessels was ultimately deemed relevant and thus retained by the collective. ]

You are not on a holodeck, but there are other Starfleet Officers present within this facility.
