Day 254 Audio + Action OPEN
[ Ah, what beautiful morning here in sector 4, the artificial sun, the little noises here and there around the amphitheater, the tall thin man in the bright orange jumpsuit that is sitting crouched next to a stone wall, muttering to himself. He turns the dial on the communicator. ]

What is this? You got the wrong man… I ain’t done half of that… [He taps the little headpiece in that light fashion everyone takes when trying to get something old to work once more.] Are you listening to me?

[ There is another tap for good measure before Facilier tries to reason with the Loa again and yes, that is a bit of a desperation in his usually smooth voice.] We had a deal! And I know that I haven’t really held up my end of the bargain but it was just a minor set back… Small part of a bigger operation..!

[ ooh: Facilier can be found wandering around sector 4, eventually ending up in 0 and 5. ]

[She checked, only half paying attention to the hand at this point. Poker, for her, was just as much about the social aspect as it was the winning. Not that she didn't love to win, of course--she was still keeping one eye on the table. But the current conversation, to her, was just as interesting.]

Because I already told you: it's not a trick.

If it were a trick, that would be one thing. I'm not about to tell you where I go hiding my cards or props or where I put the smoke and mirrors. But real magic is different--you want people to believe in it, because it's a part of who you are.

Ah but see that is all up to definition is it not? [ Okay so he does take a little bit of pleasure to get a raise out of her like this, it's quite fun. He raises the stakes a little while he is at it.]

A very good marksman might have skills but a tricky shot will still be seen as a trick.

[Still calls. By this point, it seems like he's trying to buy his way out of a bluff.]

In other words, there's pretty much nothing I could do that would convince you of what I'm saying, is there?

Go on, then. Name a trick. Any trick, any rules except for one: I have to be able to speak.

[ Damn this little girl really did take this whole thing way to serious, it`s kind of fun actually.]

All I'm saying is that any skill can and probably will be seen as a trick for the uneducated. [ He flips his cards, three of a kind of deuces beats pocket aces right?]

But sure I'll bite... Make that trash can fly around.

Which one? The one behind you...

[She lazily lifted a hand and called out the word "etativel ", sending the plastic can up and hovering over their heads.]

...or the giant one over there?

[A repeat of the same spell. This one was slightly more difficult, having been seemingly encased in a thin layer of concrete on the bottom. She lifted that too, and while she wasn't going to risk hovering it directly over their heads too...the message was pretty clear.]

[ There is a bit of eye brow raising at this, it was quite impressing indeed.]

So all you do is say those words and then...[ Facilier points towards the trash cans.]

And then...pu?

[This time, it was his turn to float in the air. Not high. A few inches, at most. Just enough to get her point across before she set him back down again.]

Something like that, yeah.

Hey...Hey... [ He does not like this, he doesn't like this even one bit. Facilier was the one that was suppose to pull out all the hocus pocus so he could use it to intimidate and charm his way into a deal. But not like this.]

Very...Very interesting.

See now you go and assume things again.

What I mean was that your assumptions means that you choose to see the bad in a comment.

Not always, no.

[Completely unfazed by his assessment.]
