[ Hello Marina! Is that the sun - the actual sun, somehow managing to penetrate miles and miles of harsh, unforgiving ocean? Is it a spotlight streaming down on the source of some incredible drama?

No, it's a young 'man' in a motorcycle helmet, lounging against a Vespa to make 'his' first-ever network broadcast. Hold onto your hearts. ]

Yo. Is there a mechanic in the house?

[ On second thought, maybe she better remove her headgear. Tossing her bangs, Haruka takes the helmet off - her hair flows; the air glitters. Apparently unaware of this nonsense, she fixes the camera with a brilliant, slightly mischievous smile. ]

I've got a little project.

[ Alternatively, you can find Haruka puttering around on her new ~~toy~~ vehicle - or, if you're in the Pa-Ching Arcade, peering over your shoulder and watching you play. It doesn't matter what game you're a fan of; she's checking out your skills (and if you're a girl, probably checking you out, too). Just...not announcing her presence. Yet. ]

Atta girl.

[ That touch does seem to ease Haruka, who breezes through the gates without, apparently, a second thought. It's a straight shot to Sector 1 through the plaza here - or relatively so, so she steers clear of the kiosk and continues on their way to the beach.

Pretty soon the air starts to get salty. Haruka takes a deep breath and smiles. Almost there. Yet it's a far cry from taking Michiru for a long drive near a wide-open beach. ]

Needs more wind....

	[Michiru looks around as they ride along. Naiad is still enjoying the wind in her fur. Michiru kept her arm around Haruka as her arm around Naiad. Finally the scent of the sea air starts reaching her and she feels more at home. The ocean, even like this, always made her feel that way] It does, but it seems that we will have to make our own. 	I can do that. [ They reach the scenic route at last, and Haruka celebrates by hitting the gas. She can't go super far, but at the very least she can drive along the edge here, and loop back to take them closer to the surf... It's not exactly made for off-road adventures, though. 	[Michiru chuckles as they begin to pick up the speed. It was nice, riding along the beach even in this place. She settles in, still keeping an eye out to make sure Haruka didn’t get too close to the sand. With Naiad onboard, she wanted to be cautious. 	[ This is really pleasant, but Haruka is soon forced to confront the dim truth: this is, after all, one segment of a dome. There is only so much room. As such, she's running....out of beach. 	[ Haruka chuckles right back, swinging her legs over so she's sitting sidesaddle on her new ride for a moment. She slings an arm around Michiru's shoulders so they can watch Naiad play. 	[She leans in close to Haruka as she drapes her arm around her. She smiles watching Naiad play in the sand, running around and digging a bit. At least she was content to play by herself. 	You've got me there. [ Dipping her head, Haruka loops a finger in the backs of her shoes to take them off one by one, removing her socks in the same motion. [ Getting caught up in the moment is all well and good, but Haruka realizes upon reaching Naiad that she hasn't got a clue how she's supposed to play. Is Naiad like a dog? Does she fetch? ]

I see you, kid. Here.

[ She picks up a stick and tosses it experimentally at the Eevee. Rather than consult with Michiru, she'll figure this out herself. (Then follow Michiru's lead if need be.) ]

	[She's kind of like a cross between a cat and a dog. So when the stick is thrown for her, she dashes after it. She picks it up and brings it back over. She drops it for Haruka and waits. Michiru just stands and watches with a smile on her face] (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[ Hey, the kid's good at this! Haruka keeps throwing the stick for Naiad, jogging out into the surf. This is totally silly, but it's not like they're at leisure to be investigating the prison every moment of every day. Showing that she's settling in and enjoying a peaceful, daily life might be her best tactic right now.

Besides, Naiad looks so happy to be fetching that stick. And Haruka looks happy to be throwing it. She even waves at Michiru from the, well, waves. Come join them? ]

[Michiru follows after Haruka joining her in the surf, feeling the water wash up against her and smiling.

As for Naiad, she’s not so fond of the water as they are. She avoids it as much as she can. But she’s showing off how smart she is. If the stick lands partially in the water, she waits until the water moves away to grab it and runs away before the water comes back]

	[Michiru chuckles as Naiad chases the stick again to bring it back. She was aware of the irony. It was silly that her little pet didn't like the water while she did, but it also made sense. She was a creature of the land and she was tiny] No, she doesn't. But that's alright. She's better when she can see to the other side of it, such as if I'm giving her a bath.
