[ Hello Marina! Is that the sun - the actual sun, somehow managing to penetrate miles and miles of harsh, unforgiving ocean? Is it a spotlight streaming down on the source of some incredible drama?

No, it's a young 'man' in a motorcycle helmet, lounging against a Vespa to make 'his' first-ever network broadcast. Hold onto your hearts. ]

Yo. Is there a mechanic in the house?

[ On second thought, maybe she better remove her headgear. Tossing her bangs, Haruka takes the helmet off - her hair flows; the air glitters. Apparently unaware of this nonsense, she fixes the camera with a brilliant, slightly mischievous smile. ]

I've got a little project.

[ Alternatively, you can find Haruka puttering around on her new ~~toy~~ vehicle - or, if you're in the Pa-Ching Arcade, peering over your shoulder and watching you play. It doesn't matter what game you're a fan of; she's checking out your skills (and if you're a girl, probably checking you out, too). Just...not announcing her presence. Yet. ]

She hasn't thought out exactly where she's going to park this, mind you, but....they'll worry about that when they get back. ] Hey. [ She hefts the helmet. ] I got you a hat. [Michiru, who was waiting outside by this point, chuckles as Haruka comes riding up on a vespa. Oh, she's not even going to ask where she got it. It's just an amusing sight. Her girlfriend, known for racing anything with a motor, now has one of the slowest motorized vehicles ever made. Naiad vees at it from the window, but the window is closed so she probably won't be able to hear it]

I see that. Somehow I'm not surprised you found this.

	[ This is your new roommate's favorite hobby, Naiad! It makes a lot of noise sometimes but the wind in your fur and ears might be pleasant. Haruka waits until she's sure her passengers are settled before starting the engine. ] All aboard? I'm still headed for the beach, but just yell if we pass something better. [ Somehow she thought you'd say that. Haruka adjusts her helmet, then gives the scooter some gas. ]

One beach, coming right up. Here we go.

[ She can't exactly peel out on a Vespa, particularly not with passengers; she can't even pop a wheelie. But she will swerve in a rather dynamic fashion before taking off down the street - not gunning the engine, just cruising at a fast enough rate to get up a pleasant breeze. There's a baby of sorts on board. She has to drive extra-safely. ]

	[Really if she had thought Michiru would say anything other than that she would be nuts. Michiru holds Naiad close for a few moments as the eevee looks around confused. She's moving and with enough motion that there is something strange called wind. After a few moments, she closes her eyes and starts enjoying it] I think we have a convert to motor vehicles. [ Haruka glances back to check on the happy passengers. Naiad's expression earns a laugh. ]

I knew she had good taste.

[ For the benefit of her first-timer, then, she'll accelerate to increase the breeze. Before long, they're approaching the entrance to their sector.

Haruka tenses, hunching over the controls. It'll be okay, though. She hasn't done anything to this bike that anybody can object to....yet. ]

Atta girl.

[ That touch does seem to ease Haruka, who breezes through the gates without, apparently, a second thought. It's a straight shot to Sector 1 through the plaza here - or relatively so, so she steers clear of the kiosk and continues on their way to the beach.

Pretty soon the air starts to get salty. Haruka takes a deep breath and smiles. Almost there. Yet it's a far cry from taking Michiru for a long drive near a wide-open beach. ]

Needs more wind....

	[Michiru looks around as they ride along. Naiad is still enjoying the wind in her fur. Michiru kept her arm around Haruka as her arm around Naiad. Finally the scent of the sea air starts reaching her and she feels more at home. The ocean, even like this, always made her feel that way] It does, but it seems that we will have to make our own. 	I can do that. [ They reach the scenic route at last, and Haruka celebrates by hitting the gas. She can't go super far, but at the very least she can drive along the edge here, and loop back to take them closer to the surf... It's not exactly made for off-road adventures, though. 	[Michiru chuckles as they begin to pick up the speed. It was nice, riding along the beach even in this place. She settles in, still keeping an eye out to make sure Haruka didn’t get too close to the sand. With Naiad onboard, she wanted to be cautious. 	[ This is really pleasant, but Haruka is soon forced to confront the dim truth: this is, after all, one segment of a dome. There is only so much room. As such, she's running....out of beach. 	[ Haruka chuckles right back, swinging her legs over so she's sitting sidesaddle on her new ride for a moment. She slings an arm around Michiru's shoulders so they can watch Naiad play.
