By that logic my own planet's yearly cycle is kind of pointless too. [Scratches his head.]
I mean, I never knew my birthday, I just went with the fact I knew it was a new year, so I had to be older by default. It wouldn't really be much different here to me, except I'll never know when a year has actually passed unless we just apply the typical days used on my planet. Or I guess, the common number of days in a year depending on where most of the people in the dome have come from?
Say, 365, if most people came from your planet. [Thinking.]
Either way? That would mean we'd all age differently and birthdays would kind of lose their significance in the long run. [Wow he should not be thinking this much with booze in his brain.]
