Hello? [Chloe pauses, lifting a hand to the communicator to check it for a second. It reminds her of the communicator Oliver gave her when she first joined the team full time. It's only been a few months or so since then but it felt like a lifetime ago. Of course, everything is different now and she doesn't belong with the team anymore. She belongs in a prison.]

I guess this is working. [Her voice is monotone, her expression blank. She has just arrived and she already accepts why she is there. If helping Davis isn't enough wrong, she is guilty of plenty of other things. She doesn't feel sorry for herself for being in this position, but she is ashamed of all she's done. Not because she doesn't believe in the reasons behind the wrong she did but now she knows it was all for nothing. She was stubborn, she should have listened to the others and maybe the price she is paying by being locked up in here is nothing compared to what is happening out there to them now. If they are still there at all.] I just wanted to test the equipment.

What about the people who already lived on those planets when humans arrived? Assuming there were any, of course...

[She does add the last part after a second. Most people from Metropolis or Smallville have embraced the idea of aliens being among us, even without any actual proof. Between the meteor rocks, the constant destruction of the cities and all the weird and unexplained, it's not hard to put two and two together. But this may not be the case for people from other parts of the world. Or other timelines, for that matter. ]

	Other people? What other people would there be? We used up Earth-that-was and had to go somewhere. They terra-formed what they could to make it livable. Humans is the only creatures out there. And the creatures we brought with us. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	[Mal shrugs.] Don't know. Alliance don't seem to think they exist, but Reavers never come closer than the border planets. We run into 'em occasionally. Usually can avoid 'em jus' by goin' slow an' steady. (Reply to this) (Parent)
