Seven wastes no time in departing from the computer lab, moving at a brisk pace from there to the apartment. The only thing that stops her from breaking into a run is the desire to avoid giving anyone cause for alarm, as this is a matter best dealt with internally before it becomes an external problem. She had suspected it, of course, but she never thought those suspicions would prove to be correct. After all, it was more likely something like that would happen to her and not him, for she had been Borg longer, was still heavily augmented with their implants, and had to regenerate.
And yet, it's happening. It puts words to what she's been feeling all day, to the whispers, to that sense of not being alone in her own head.
It makes her feel uneasy, afraid, angry, and she's certain these emotions are displayed clearly on her face when she steps into the apartment and locks the door behind her.
"We have a problem. It's the captain, and I fear I may be compromised, as well."
