[237] 'Lost Someone Close to the Stabilizer' group mingle
[This group's to meet in the warm, coffee-scented air of Bean Crushers in sector four. Inside the shops doors there's a plethora of cushy chairs, couches and bean bags to sit on and a small stage typically used for poetry or comedy performances. Today it's re-purposed with signs encouraging individuals to use it as a platform to speak from, though smaller grouping of chairs are there for the less social to chat in smaller numbers. Through out the shop is the typical array of goodies; brownies, coffee, cookies and danishes as well as other pastries and small bowls of candy on available ledges. For those who need a little something to get through things, there's also a small selection of alcohol available on the premises.

Several signs and boards around the room list questions of discussion, as well as stacks of cards for inmates to use as topics. (A few examples: "Have you lost someone to the stabilizer recently? Do you miss them? How does it make you feel?" )

[OOC; Mingle! Feel free to use any of the mentioned questions or come up with your own topics of conversation, though remember that the food is spiked albeit delicious. I'll post a comment for Rebecca below, but will otherwise turn off notifs for this page.]

[Poor man! Lacus wouldn't leave someone in pain like this no matter what, but the clothing that distinctly marks him as Black Order has her even more eager to help.]

Sometimes it's all the more painful if you only have them for one day. [She smiles sympathetically.] Although I understand your point. It feels like something would be better than nothing at all.

[ he harrumphed because really, Komui probably just didn't want to deal with Bak's ire. ]

It hardly maters now. He's always been difficult.

[ and brilliant, but some things are best left unsaid. Shifting uncomfortably on his chair, Bak took a tiny peek at Lacus, afflicted with his usual unease in the face of a comely woman's presence! ]

Did you have someone visit? [ because what is small talk? ]

I did. [Not this time, but in times past.] I found it very upsetting, but I took advantage of the chance all the same. There are those here who would give all they own for the chance I had, after all, even if it didn't last. It didn't feel right to squander it.

[ he nodded, only a little troubled. ] Chance or no, I'd still like to know where they go when they're gone. It wouldn't be half so upsetting if only we just knew!

[ because everyone, it seemed, didn't remember a damn thing when they disappeared. And Bak so hated a mystery! ]

I'm sure you could find out in time. As I understand it, the Black Order is very versatile when it comes to matters like that. [Anyone on Allen's team, so to speak, has her automatic faith and respect.]

[ his expression immediately fell and his voice was flat when he spoke. ] You know of the Black Order? [ did anyone from before his time manage to keep their secrets, well... secret? Although, even Bak had to admit. The Black Order wasn't entirely a secret. But there were still rules to be followed! ]

A bit. I was good friends with Allen, but mostly I knew of it when they joined the Defense Force in the old dome. A bit of information had to be shared in order for all of the Exorcists to be admitted.

Does that trouble you?

[ Bak immediately shook his head ] Komui had his reasons. [ for both joining and leaving the force. ] I'm just unused to speaking of it so freely.

[ for good reason. Those who knew of the Akuma, unfortunately, rarely survived the Akuma. ]

I suppose you would be. It's not the sort of thing that most people would need to know about, and in fact it might endanger them. But here, we're all subject to Tyki's whims, and Road before she vanished. I think there were other Noah, as well. So I've made it my business to know, at least, whom I should contact if it were necessary.

He hasn't been getting into more trouble has he? [ the question is immediate and swift, because Tyki has ever been on his mind since all the other exorcists had disappeared one by one. And if there's sense being spoken, it's Lacus.

Bak just can't bring himself to believe anyone can fight Tyki off. Not even Allen had been completely successful. ]
