[237] 'Lost Someone Close to the Stabilizer' group mingle
[This group's to meet in the warm, coffee-scented air of Bean Crushers in sector four. Inside the shops doors there's a plethora of cushy chairs, couches and bean bags to sit on and a small stage typically used for poetry or comedy performances. Today it's re-purposed with signs encouraging individuals to use it as a platform to speak from, though smaller grouping of chairs are there for the less social to chat in smaller numbers. Through out the shop is the typical array of goodies; brownies, coffee, cookies and danishes as well as other pastries and small bowls of candy on available ledges. For those who need a little something to get through things, there's also a small selection of alcohol available on the premises.

Several signs and boards around the room list questions of discussion, as well as stacks of cards for inmates to use as topics. (A few examples: "Have you lost someone to the stabilizer recently? Do you miss them? How does it make you feel?" )

[OOC; Mingle! Feel free to use any of the mentioned questions or come up with your own topics of conversation, though remember that the food is spiked albeit delicious. I'll post a comment for Rebecca below, but will otherwise turn off notifs for this page.]

[So this girl's seated herself neatly in a bean bag chair, though she'll likely relocate around the room several times throughout the session.

Her backpack by her feet, she's got her laptop across her folded legs and is a bit reserved to start, by habit.

However judging by the coffee in her hand and the brownie she's got on the table before her, she'll loosen up rather quick.]

[ Bak plopped down in the bean bag chair next to her, waving a hand to cool down his flushed face. ]

It's a bit warm in here, isn't it?

[ it really isn't, but Bak never did have a good immunity to drugs of any sort. It's pretty much just going to straight to his head, much like that coffee if he isn't careful. Someone should really tell him to sit it down before he spills it on something. Like himself. ]

Eh, a little. [Rebecca says with a shrug but a smile.]

How's things?

[ Bak studiously avoided her gaze as he wiggled in the bean bag again, attempting to shift it into a more comfortable outline of his figure. ]

Things are, as usual, in their proper place.

[ he sipped at his coffee and then glanced at Rebecca ]

And are they likewise treating you well? [ things are well, things after all. ]

[This is a topic, Miranda actually doesn't mind discussing. She doesn't even need the tea in her hand to make her more relaxed about it. When she sees Rebecca she wonders if she should speak to her. They aren't close, but she likes her and it's always better to have someone there when you're missing friends.

She makes a move to sit on the lumpy cushion on the floor, only to slide off to the side from the uneven weight, almost dropping her plate of cookies.]

Ah!
