DAY 236 [voice]
... So I either slept long and hard or I just fuckin' up and made like mist and evaporated for a bit there.

Either way: orange's still not my color. Noooo thanks. Baggy ass jumpsuit does nothing for a girl's figure. I look like a breadstick. A cheese breadstick, exactly 666 calories from the depths of hell's kitchen. Off the hook and uncontainable, the hard and fast starch diet of kings coming your way with a side of pasta. Mom's spaghetti. Luckily I don't give a rat's ass about shit like that, so I'll eat everyone's share. All of it. Fuckin' mine.

In other news, the god damned weather: what's shakin'? Looking all kinds of stormy gross today on the day that is also day 236. Days.

Considering there's a vampire here named Spike, I'm gonna go with no. Not a loaded word. In my experience, they usually don't seem to mind the puns much, as long as you're not using them deliberately. [ 'cause then you're stepping into pissing them off territory, which never ends well. especially if you're speaking to one who doesn't give any fucks towards abiding by the rules. ]

Okay, all that you just said? Is a bunch of Hollywood bullshit. We're not Tinkerbell sized or into making shoes, nor do we jingle or sprinkle things with pixie dust or any of that crap. [ the fuck was otherkin? ] My being fae is mostly an internal thing, as is the case with most supernaturals. We all look as "normal" as the rest on the outside -- we're just a little different on the inside and can do things regular people can't, is all.

[ Hmmmmmmmm. Internal. Sounds pretty otherkin. But the last thing she wants to do is piss anyone off, so she'll drop that bit. ]

Gotcha, and gotcha. I know jack shit about fae that ain't popular fiction, so sorry for askin with the ignoramus in my skull. No offense meant, girl. What kinda shit do you guys get up to? What kinda irregularities?

I'm curious as all get out, bein' from someplace with more aliens and wicked tech than magic slash 'things regular people can't do'. Though. Man, the magical part of my ultimate journey was just startin' before I got dragged here, so maybe that's some sorta inaccurate. I was supposed to meet my mom who was kinda also my daughter so's maybe that's a lil magical, but the timey wimey sorta magical rather than a cold hard burst of abra cadabra.

[ You caught her on an especially babbly sort of day. ]

Telepathy and photokinesis for the most part. [ there's more, like how her blood allows vampires to walk in the sun, but she's not about to share that with anyone. she's finally living in a place where vampires aren't trying to take a bite out of her all the time. she'll pass on giving them a reason to. ]

Aliens? Really? [ a laugh. ] Where I'm from, those are just-- well, speculation and what not. Can't really say whether aliens are really out there or not, given that there hasn't really been much proof either way on it. I'd believe it, though. Wouldn't be surprised if they were out there, or even if they were watching. Earth's gotta be a goddamn soap opera for people from other worlds with the way we carry on sometimes.

[ it's okay, sookie can be rather loquacious herself when given the chance. ]
