[ Buffy's emotions are at war with each other. She's not sure what to feel and she hasn't been since she heard the morning announcement. Shock definitely came first followed closely by a fury that she usually reserves for those attempting to destroy the world, or at least Sunnydale. The fury is tempered by worry then by something that closely resembles logic, at least for Buffy.

She takes her time getting out of bed, showering and swinging by the Bean Crusher to grab coffee and danish before she goes to Dawn's room and knocks on the door. ]

Dawnie, I've got coffee and danish in here for breakfast.

[ Buffy can be found here wailing on things with a particular purpose. Sometimes it's very difficult for her to remember that Dawn is nearly nineteen years old and not fourteen. She knows that this isn't Dawn's first time. There was the whole Thricewise demon thing to remind her of that. She also knows that Dawn and Xander were sharing a one bedroom apartment and Xander wasn't sleeping on the couch. It's still difficult to accept that her baby sister is having sex. It's even harder to deal with the fact that the Wardens find it perfectly acceptable to broadcast such private details. She's not mad at Dawn, not really. She's not even mad at Peter though she will pull his entrails out through his nose if he hurts Dawn. She's just trying to resolve all of her feelings the best way she knows how: by hitting things.

After she hits things and showers, she'll probably head to Merlotte's. She seriously needs a drink and she needs to tell Sam that she won't be working this evening simply because her patience and focus are nil and did she mention that she really needs a drink?]

[Very briefly Buffy will be out getting coffee and danish at the Bean Crusher, but she'll be in a hurry to get back to talk to Dawn before her sister gets up and leaves. ]
