So that sure was a newbie-centric couple of days. Except most of them didn't stick around. [Yeah, it's still bugging her. No Derek, and the only members of her team were Gideon who still scares the hell out of her and a mini-Reid who she was too freaked out to even talk to. And then that weird other Tyki...]

If some of you got to see your loved ones and all that, I'm really happy for you. Really. But for totally selfish reasons, I... kinda hope it doesn't happen very often. Someone please tell me that's not a usual thing? Because if it is I'm going to stockpile junk food and make plans to hide out under the covers on a regular.

[Anyone who is in the area of the shopping hubs can find Garcia doing some retail therapy and also picking stuff up for her homebound bud, Rebecca. She's trying to cheer herself up and so a small radio is playing some upbeat and danceable music.]

Parties are always a good idea... unless, of course, it's a lame party. I can understand that, though. There was a video game I wanted to get back to, but now I'll never know what happens! [Long dramatic sigh!]

God, doesn't that suck? I mean it's enough to be stuck in a fishbowl without having to suffer the uncertainty.

So what qualifies as a good party for you? My ideas involve things like hair dye and outfit coordination. Or coding. But I've gotta be open to new things, like you said!

[He laughs, totally loving her party ideas.]

Those are fun! I've had all sorts of parties before. Tea parties, masquerade parties, costume parties, themed parties, garden parties. They're all fun! I'm sure there are other types I haven't already listed. You can turn almost anything into a party, as long as people who know how to have fun are the ones setting it up.

I love costume parties! Dressing up is one of life's great joys. But I gotta be honest, hearing 'tea party' makes me think of stuffy old grandmothers sitting around a formal table and barely exchanging three words. It's not really like that, is it?

No, no! Not at all!

[That makes him laugh even louder. What a funny visual!]

I suppose you can say it's a modernized version of that -- it's more like friends just hanging out, having a cup of tea and having good conversation with good music. Not all parties have to be big and wild! You would love it.

[He says that confidently! He doesn't know much about her, but he's sure she would enjoy it.]

That does sound pretty awesome. Were there crumpets and all that stuff? [Because that's what she thinks of when she thinks of tea, honestly.] That might be only British tea, I don't know.

There's usually cakes, cookies, scones, and other things that complement tea. If we were to have a tea party here, we can get crumpets! There are no limits to what one can have at a tea party!

No limits... and now I'm thinking of an Alice in Wonderland type tea party. Which suits this place pretty well, if you ask me.

Your version sounds like fun too! A more sane, normal kind of fun.

Alice in Wonderland is always a good idea. We've used it for show before, my friends and I, and my brother and I played Alice A and Alice B! We were cute in Alice's dress, let me tell you!

Yeah? That sounds so adorable I can't even tell you. Did you go blond for it?

Mm, we wore wigs! Really, though, I think there needs to be a costume party, and I don't mean a Halloween party! I don't think we should have to wait until the wardens decide it's Halloween.

Well, there was a costume party the night of the blackout, but that's no excuse whatsoever not to have another one! What do you have in mind?

Since we were on the topic of Alice in Wonderland, how about a fairytale theme?

I'm all for some happily ever after. Even if it's just a theme and not an actual thing. And not gonna lie, I've always wanted to be a fairy godmother.

Oho, I predict that this is the start of something fun and beautiful. Just what this place needs after having a depressing day of seeing old faces and losing them again, for some.
