[A certain Gargoyle had returned again, and he wasn't too pleased about it. Though, honestly, being out in the day time wasn't terrible. It was an adjustment, but it wasn't terrible. So, he was going to take advantage of that. But, the dome wasn't really great for gliding around, since it was hard to get air currents. Gargoyles didn't do well in enclosed spaces for long...]

[See, that's something Puck can agree with: high altitudes are far superior. You can have a lot more fun on them, especially when one of you can really fly and the other... can't, exactly. But what to do? He's tempted to sick some conjured-up Steel Clan members on Brooklyn, or why not attack as Brooklyn himself? Wouldn't that be confusing.

On the other hand he knows how tiring that would be here, and he'd prefer not to burn himself out too early on a fun day like this. So instead, here's a - perhaps familiar - disembodied voice:]

You have a kid to keep an eye on, you know. I don't think Fox and Xanatos would be thrilled to know their mystical nanny is off running around between worlds.

[Brooklyn had resented that situation when Goliath had been taken off by the mists of Avalon, but he knew better now. Despite that, though, and the connection between Alex and Lex, he had a feeling Fox and Xanatos weren't going to be quite so forgiving. It was still a tense relationship there, at best. Brooklyn took a long time to come back from having his trust broken.]

This would be the time to ask what on Earth you're talking about-- [but he only needs the moment to puzzle out the rough details. the eyebrows relax.] but it's just so distracting to see you concerned. [For the kid, he assumes.] Unless you're playing the transdimensional messenger today?

Oh, well, I'd hate to make promises I can't keep, so I couldn't say either way. On the bright side, if you end up doing the permanent song and dance you'd have familiar faces around? [Stuck with Puck for the rest of your life, isn't that an appealing prospect?]

As for me... not long enough to have grown bored yet, [three months not being much by his standards] with all the arbitrariness that comes with that.

[Tilting his head. He might be smiling and talking like normal, but that doesn't mean this new information isn't intriguing and, frankly, confusing. As much as he's fairly certain he's putting the pieces together correctly enough.] But I'm sure the kiddos can play on their own for a while longer.
