Day 231 | action, closed to certain parties who know who they are
[ Hanging out with Calsprite is the bomb.

But unfortunately it could not last forever. Calsprite seemed to have other business (probably harassing Caliborn, which Dirk 100% endorses), so now Dirk is just. Sort of. Hanging out alone.

And kind of surreptitiously keeping an eye out for familiar faces during this temporary influx. ]

His step is thrown WAY off as Dave catches one foot and that's hella embarrassing. Bro doesn't quite go completely down despite tripping stupidly and losing his momentum, but he falters and has to steady himself with a hand on the ground. He regains his balance and footing enough to launch himself straight at Dave, wanting to get him pinned on the ground (mostly to get a good look at him).]

[Dave is already launching himself forward, fist pulled back as he rushes forward to aim a punch right at Bro's face. He doesn't bother to figure out who he is or how it got to this point. The other attacked him and like hell was he going to just wait and find out exactly why.

He's going to try damn hard to make sure he doesn't end up pinned to the ground. Bro is gonna have his work cut out for him.]

[Shit yes. Dave has the upper hand because he moved first and Bro barely has time to turn his head so that the fist doesn't slam into his nose. It's only thanks to his incredible reaction time that it ends up glancing off his cheek instead but he's definitely gonna be sporting a bruise there.

He actually barks out a laugh through his clenched teeth and then makes a grab for Dave's tie.]

[Bro immediately wraps the tie around his fist and swings his hand around to the back of Dave's head to try to cut off some of his air supply through the tightness of the fabric on his windpipes. He gives a sharp yank and keeps his body close to Dave's because then, if/when Dave tries to hit him again, he can't use his speed or weight to really wind up.

In the meantime though, Bro looks pleased as punch even with his cheek swollen and his lip bleeding slightly from the corner. He doesn't try to strike back, instead he just stares at his grown up baby bro.]

[A sharp intake of breath turns into a hiss and a growl as he's lurched closer to the other. He's lost any advantage he had now that they're so close and the other has his tie wrapped around his hand.

He grits his teeth, eyes narrowed in a glare behind the tinted plastic of his aviators. He doesn't know who this is. They look similar to Dirk in some instances, but Dave doesn't know a whole lot about the alternate universe bullshit. There's something about him that's very familiar though. Like they've met but he can't play where or how.]
