[231] action/ silent network
[Computer Lab; action]

[What do you do when you're blue and in prison all of a sudden? You look for Erik, perhaps, to start but otherwise keep a keen ear listening for useful information. Though the network's full of squabbling human voices by the sounds of it, Mystique's taken to combing through it after settling in at the Computer Lab in Sector Two. Earpiece on she's reclining in a chair with her long legs crossed and propped up on a desk; not exactly giving off approachable vibes but what do you expect from a naked blue mutant?]

[Elsewhere; action]

[If computer labs aren't your thing then you'll have plenty of other opportunities to see Mystique a little later in the day, as hard as she is to miss. She'll be scoping out the perimeter of the dome and it's buildings and 'sights'. Not without something akin to a sneer at most of it, but a mutant's got to eat when a mutant's got to eat.]

[Network]

[If you think you've heard a subtle click listening in on feeds in silence, or noticed someone trying to pick into your stronger encryptions, then you'd indeed be right. Not exactly all that familiar with the tech yet, tracks aren't exactly covered as she sates curiosity throughout the day.]

[Welp, guess she doesn't remember him. Then again, it was pretty icy back then too.]

Yeah. Raven, she's a friend of mine. I met you once before and she didn't believe what I told her about you.

[Her eyes narrow, but not by much. Whether it's at his statement or the usage of her former-name is up for debate.

Cooly:]
Which was? [Just what have you been saying, blue-boy.]

[Oh man. Is he going to get strangled or punched for what he's about to say? maybe. Probably...]

Just that you're a lot more confident in your natural state, you seem to like to flaunt how you look. [And you walk around naked everywhere, but the way he worded just now was much more flattering.]

Your younger self is shy. She hides her blue skin. I just try to make her feel better about herself. [He's blue, so obviously he finds her shade of blue attractive and something she shouldn't hide.]

[Depends on how you proceed, dear Helix.

She scrutinizes him for a second.]
There'll come a time she comes to her senses.

[A person who brings her to them.

Mystique inclines her head, arms crossing.]
But just what do you tell her? To make her feel better?

I... [This was kind of awkward but it's not like he could ignore how Mystique was kind of pressing him for answers on this. He felt like he was walking on thin ice here.]

I told her that she shouldn't listen to the morons who might thing she's ugly or a freak, because they don't know shit. Well... okay not in those words but close to it. She should be proud of how she looks cause she's really attractive.

[Clears his throat.] And I might've asked that she lose the disguise so I could kiss her in her natural state.

[She continues to look at Helix for a moment before she laughs.

She's going to give him a hard time because she thinks he's a little bit ignorant.

And it's fun.]
You think she's attractive. So that should make it all alright.

[Her skin begins to ripple through.]

[Morphing to a blond appearance, she cocks her head to the side and stares at him with eyes that are still quite icy.]

I can be attractive whenever I want to be, to whomever I want to be. [It's not about that.]

You should be telling her to listen to those morons, and listen hard. Learn from it mutant pride.

She should be proud of how she looks because she's a mutant. [Her eyes narrow. You said wrong there, boy.]

Okay so I might not have emphasized the whole mutant thing but the message is the same. She's attractive no matter what.

[Weirdo. Calm down.]

I see it still skims your head. [Complimenting her solely on "beauty" was a mistake.]

But it seems your ignorance isn't race related, just youthful stupidity.

Why should it matter what she is?

One day you'll grow up. And you'll realize a woman is more than just a pretty face.

Uhm... That's kind of my point to begin with? And Hi. I'm gay. If that puts anything into perspective for you.
