Day 241 | Video | Action--Open Mingle
[There is a very tall, pale, blonde man on the screen. He's wearing dark clothes and his blonde hair is slicked back. He gives the camera a charming smile. ]

I understand we're to be inundated with visitors today. I also understand that a sudden arrival here can be a disconcerting and that often requires a drink. I invite everyone to come have a drink at the Blood Shack in sector four. We've got a wide variety of drinks, both ordinary and unusual.

Come spend your day with us at the Blood Shack. We'd be delighted to have you.

[ The video clicks off.

Those that decide to take Eric up on his invitation, will find the Blood Shack up and running. During the day, a few bots can be found doing some of the mundane things like delivering drinks to tables, but during the evening Eric will be behind the bar and the presence of bots is reduced. The bar itself is dimly lit with small tables and booths places about. There's a dance floor and a stage with a pole at one end. The other end of the stage is occupied by what can only be called a throne, which Eric occupies when Spike is behind the bar. There is also a jukebox that customers can play. ]

[ Dean's might just be feeling a bit on the lower side of awful when he enters the bar, hunting down a drink because he's got things to sort. It ain't every day one finds out they're doing the same jerk move an angel kept doing to him not too long ago.

To say Dean feels guilty is an understatement. So, cozy up to him at the bar or a table. It don't matter. He just has a drink and is people watching because what else is one to do when he's got a one day trip back to the spa?

Actually do something productive? Hah! ]

[Cozying is exactly what this girl plans on doing when she strolls into the Shack. And what a shack it is. Aphrodite is more than a little bit repulsed because dark and dreary just is not her style, but she enjoys being where the people are. And maybe she can bring a bit of light to a few poor, destitute men. And oh look that guy sitting alone at that table certainly looks like he could use a little loving pick-me-up.

Her silk and lace billows around her as if carrying her on a breeze only she can feel. She comes up on his side and lightly taps her perfect nails on the table before sliding them along so she has a better view of his face. Oh he's a looker too, even better.]

With so many people around, being alone would be a real bummer, I'd think.

[ Dean was half way to a shrug and a careless sip of his beer when he finally looked at the goddess in front of him, his mind needing three seconds too many to register the dulcet tone and not just the words.

But then he looked up and he choked, splashing beer all down his front. ]

Dude, woman. You're gonna give a man a heart attack!

[ not that he didn't appreciate it, but he wasn't exactly expecting to walk into a strip joint tonight of all nights. It really wasn't Marina's thing. ]

[Saetan does not particularly care for this place. Its loud and crowded and it makes him feel old and out of touch and he hates this sort of thing. He's only here to get a glass of blood, which he's mixed with a bit of red wine in a wine glass because he believes in having standards. And now that he's here he feels obligated to stay until he's finished it and be social, if a bit awkward in his old fashioned suit.

If there's one thing he can't do though it's mind his own business and when he spots the unhappy looking young man further down the bar from him he can't refrain from commenting.]

Forgive me for saying so, puppy, but I didn't think it was possible for anyone to look like they wanted to be here less than I do.

Yeah, well. Who really likes living in a dome?

[ Dean does, which is the problem. He pretty much hates the idea of leaving, not when this place was the first time in his life he almost had a normal life. Not to mention who'd like to go back to the Apocalypse? ]

I can think of worse places to be. [He replies mildly. Hell springs to mind. Which, in turn makes him realize he has not introduced himself properly so he sets down the wine glass and extends a hand with its long black nails to shake.]

Saetan SaDiablo, by the way. It's nice to meet you, young man. [He got used to the reactions that name gets a long, long time ago and by this point he's well past caring.]

You know, I'd never heard that word before arriving here and yet in this place everyone seems to apply it to me. I'm not entirely sure it's quite accurate.

[That second comment gets a faint smile smile and he holds his left hand closer, allowing the stranger to get a better look at the small venomous snake tooth that slides out from under the nail of his ring finger.] Not particularly, and in any case I've always had a fondness for black. I take it they don't have Black Widows where you're from?

[Helix will wander up to the bar at some point and when he does it just so happens to be near enough to catch sight of Dean.]

Dean? [Wow lookit how the kid lights up a little. It was a good idea to wander in here after all... even if he's practically a vamp magnet. Eric will protect him... right?]

Holy shit, it's good to see you. [A pause.] I mean it sucks you're stuck here again, but... beats being in a cold sleep right?

	Surprisingly, not a whole lot. [And wow is that disappointing now that he's really thinking about it.\ Unless you count fooling around in the house of mirrors. Oh! Mal and I did steal some chickens from a fenced in farm in the other prison. There was that Armored Aardvark I fought too...
