Day 241 | Video | Action--Open Mingle
[There is a very tall, pale, blonde man on the screen. He's wearing dark clothes and his blonde hair is slicked back. He gives the camera a charming smile. ]

I understand we're to be inundated with visitors today. I also understand that a sudden arrival here can be a disconcerting and that often requires a drink. I invite everyone to come have a drink at the Blood Shack in sector four. We've got a wide variety of drinks, both ordinary and unusual.

Come spend your day with us at the Blood Shack. We'd be delighted to have you.

[ The video clicks off.

Those that decide to take Eric up on his invitation, will find the Blood Shack up and running. During the day, a few bots can be found doing some of the mundane things like delivering drinks to tables, but during the evening Eric will be behind the bar and the presence of bots is reduced. The bar itself is dimly lit with small tables and booths places about. There's a dance floor and a stage with a pole at one end. The other end of the stage is occupied by what can only be called a throne, which Eric occupies when Spike is behind the bar. There is also a jukebox that customers can play. ]

[Okay, so the whole vampire bar thing is a little weird but she hangs out in a Demon Bar enough (well, when Caritas isn't under reconstruction) that it's the most comforting place she's found here so far, go figure.

At least here she doesn't have to listen to any awful renditions of karaoke -- always a plus.

She'd be freaking out a little more but she's done this before -- hello, Pylea much? She'd rather be home because as Lorne keeps reminding everyone "The Destroyer" is coming and you know -- she apparently glows now and that's another new side effect of the whole demony thing and Groo is probably lost without her (quite possibly literally) but from what she hears this is a temporary visit at best.

So right now she'll be sitting at the bar, sipping a glass of wine.]

[ And this little Summers is here, maybe more grown up than the last time Cordy had seen her since she's college aged now. But she remembers Cordelia, maybe fake memories but memories nonetheless. Plus, when Cordy had been in the prison before, she and Dawn had almost become friends.

She slides up on the stool next to her. ] Hey. So you get to be a convict too, huh? It's not as bad as it could be.

	[Definitely quite a bit more grown up. Cordelia kind of left Sunnydale and never came back, after all. Still, after a moment she places together who it must be.] They're not collaring me or calling me a cow yet so I consider this a step up from other prisoner situations I've been in. [The question surprises her. It's not that she's never seen psychic abilities -- she has, like the time Buffy could hear all their thoughts -- but it's not a super common thing either. Still, it's a harmless enough question.]

Hell dimension.

[Where she started out as an enslaved "cow" and ended up a princess who tried to liberate everyone. According to Groo that didn't go as smoothly as she hoped when she left but an effort was made.]

[ wow, this again. awesome. wonderful. he really hopes he's just a visitor on a day pass, that this is like those times the dome was overcrowded with people who wouldn't last through the night, because this isn't something he's game for doing a second time. there's work to be done back home. he was in the middle of something. something that doesn't involve prancing around prisneyland in the name of "rehabilitation." ha. as if those mechanical idiots at the kiosk even know the definition of.

the blood shack's a logical place to situate himself, somewhere he can get a drink and some blood -- or a drink with blood mixed in -- and wait for this day to be over. he doesn't think about looking for anyone who might still be here, not wanting to get anyone's hopes up or stir any pots that might not need... stirring. he's just going to sit down on this stool over here, order himself something that's alcoholic and b positive, and ~~brood~~ be disgruntled. ]
